SELCA HEALTH CAMPAIGN

Campaign Identity, Art Direction & Graphic Design
A 'For Us, By Us' approach to addressing health inequalities in Black communities. A multi touch point campaign featuring posters, flyers and banners designed, along with a digital campaign which was rolled out across Black businesses across South East London and social media platforms.

1 in 12 Black men will die of Prostate cancer vs. 1 in 24 White men.
Black women are twice as likely to receive a late breast cancer diagnosis.

SELCA tasked us with developing a campaign to address these statastics. With our campaign architecture - “For us, by us” we worked in collaboration with Black patient groups, healthcare professionals, local trusted voices, case studies, businesses in developing this campaign. From strategy, creative testing, through to evaluation, we derived insight from our communities at every stage.

Community collaboration

The campaign included; experiential activation, OOH, paid social media, community engagement and community radio partnership.
In empowering our communities, we created and disseminated via public facing businesses and community engagement.

Thanks to the community

Working with Dean Rickets (The Watch-man Agency) and Photographer Eddie Otchere, we comissioned photoshoots with
local community members who were willing to share their stories and conversations to create authentic and
personal visuals and activations for the campaign.
